Iasa welcomes a new Chapter in Warsaw, Poland

Dec. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Austin, TX, December, 2014—Iasa, the world’s largest IT Architecture professional association, is pleased to announce a new chapter in Warsaw, Poland.  The vision of the chapter leadership is to help and structure the IT Architect community in Poland, having a long term association offering learning and mentoring resources based on conferences, debates, workshops and Iasa courses and certifications. The chapter was formalized, and given umbrella ship by the Polish Association of IT Architects.

Damaris Bode, Iasa Global Community Director explains: “We have been eagerly anticipating the day of the inaugural event and welcoming the Warsaw Chapter to Iasa’s chapter circle. We are excited to now be able to offer our services and programs to the polish architect community through such a passionate and experienced chapter leadership team.

Damaris continues: “Iasa Global and the Warsaw chapter have together prepared a cohesive offering for our local polish members to look forward to and participate in including chapter events, certification boards, mentoring, curriculum training and networking for 2015.”

The inaugural event will take place December 9th, 2014  at 16:30 at the Auditorium of Microsoft, Warsaw, Aleje Jerozolimskie 195A.

The focus of this event will be on introducing the newest Iasa chapter followed by sneak peeks of further seminars and activitties.

Maciej Pogoda, President and co-founder of the Polish Association of IT Architects is excited about the opportunity to engage with many other Architects from different contexts, ecosystems and platforms. “It is all about the people who works as Architects, their skills and impact on our world today”.

Maciej continues: “Our main motivation to start the Iasa chapter is to create a shared “arena” accessible to anyone to discuss and debate Architecture (Software Architecture, Infrastructure, Information, Business & Enterprise Architecture) and related technologies, regardless of the view of technology.
The ultimate motivation is to have a software architect community that can share and learn from each other, regardless of the employer and the technology being used.
