GZA GeoEnvironmental names Samuel Bell as Senior Hazard Mitigation Specialist

NORWOOD, Mass. - Dec. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., a leading environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, announces that Samuel Bell has joined the company as a Senior Hazard Mitigation Specialist, operating from corporate headquarters in Norwood, MA as a member of the Water Resources Group.

Bell comes to GZA with more than 14 years of experience in environmental planning, hazard mitigation assistance and public policy.  Prior to joining the firm he was a Research Group Manager with Ideation, Inc. in Chantilly, Virginia.  Previously he was an Emergency Management Program Specialist at FEMA in Boston and at headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Bell earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Arts in Urban and Environmental Policy & Planning from Tufts University.

He has made numerous industry presentations and published articles throughout his career and is an adjunct faculty member with the International Scientific Summer School.

Originally from Durham, North Carolina, Bell and his wife Abbi are presently re-locating to the Boston area from Virginia.
