A+ Tutoring/ Test Preparation Opens Office in Cincinnati for its ACT and SAT Prep

CINCINNATI - Dec. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- A+ Tutoring of Cincinnati is proud to announce the opening of its new office near the Tri-County Mall for its SAT and ACT preparation programs. The office,
located at the CMC Small Business Center at Suite 109A, 260 Northland Blvd, Cincinnati, is on the first floor, accessible directly in the back of the building or down the stairs from the front. There is on-site parking in both areas.

Tutoring, which has already begun for the ACT, at this office, is arranged by appointment, though normal hours are 9am-9pm Monday to Saturday, with reduced hours on Sunday.

Mr DiSalvo, who has recently has recently made it known that he has availability for 2-3 students, with intensive test preparation having ended in September and October for the PSAT, SAT, and ACT.

"I'm very excited about the possibilities now open for my students now that I have an office in which we can really settle down and work.  With distractions in our daily lives being everything from family pets to siblings to televisions, my new office gives both tutor and student a chance to focus, the most important ingredient in our SAT and ACT lessons," Mr DiSalvo remarked in a recent meeting.

Mr DiSalvo, who himself has two small children at home, has sometimes met students at convenient places like public libraries or restaurants like Panera, though he has recently said these places are not the ideal.  "The best tutors set aside a space where the mentoring can happen in a concentrated way.  It's not a time for smartphones or doorbells.  With distractions at other public places ranging from loud talking during meals to children's gaming on computers in our libraries, it is important to see that we should really be imitating the testing environment when they take their actual SAT or ACT and get rid of peripheral stimuli", he has said.

Mr DiSalvo has been doing SAT and ACT prep in people's homes for ten years (about 7 of those years in greater Cincinnati), in which he has seen many of his 800 students increase their scores on tests like the PSAT, ACT, and SAT by as much as 50 percentile points, to even getting perfect scores.
