Tom Tillery Webcast: Generation-Skipping Transfer Tax in the Personal Financial Planning Process

ATLANTA - Dec. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Financial Planning Advocate, LLC was host to a Continuing Education event on Friday, December 5, 2014. Tom Tillery, Vice President of Paraklete® Financial, Inc. presented 'Generation-Skipping Transfer Tax in the Personal Financial Planning Process.' The course provided one hour of CPE and CE.

Topics addressed were: the history of the Generation-Skipping Transfer Tax, as well as how the various changes within its structure affect the personal financial planning process; the various types of 'skips;' the implications of EGTRRA and 'indirect skips' as well as a review of the various strategies in 'preserving portability.'
