Hosanna Industries Bringing Christmas to Clients

Local Nonprofit in Need of Volunteers to Deliver Gifts to Needy Households
By: Hosanna Industries

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Dec. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Every year, Hosanna Industries follows up with needy households that they have helped over the past year by sending volunteers to deliver Christmas gifts and food. Their clients have an average household annual income of less than $20,000, so they do not have the means to purchase Christmas gifts. The needy households that Hosanna serves are all over Western Pennsylvania, and have been given home repairs such as a new roof or replacement windows.

"The message of Christmas is the foundation for everything that Hosanna Industries strives to accomplish throughout the year," says Reverend Dr. Donn D. Ed, Executive Director of Hosanna Industries. "By remembering those who are disadvantaged during the Christmas season, we brighten the Light that makes this time of year so meaningful."

The gifts are pre-selected, purchased and wrapped by the Women of Bakerstown Presbyterian Church. The beef is graciously provided by Rod and Bev Blair of Slippery Rock.

Hosanna coordinates volunteers by providing instructions, names of people in the household, their phone number, and directions to the house. The gifts are picked up from Hosanna's campus in New Sewickley Township on December 13, and can be delivered anytime before Christmas.

Volunteers are still needed to deliver gifts and food and are asked to register ahead of time. To volunteer, contact Emily Cadenhead at 724-770-0262 or emily_safran@yahoo.com.

On December 13 when the gifts are picked up, Hosanna hosts a breakfast, with catering donated by Medure's Catering. The event starts at 9:30AM and all are invited.
