Bengaluru is set to witness 10 days of Indian classical extravaganza- Swarna Hejje-2014

BANGALORE, India - Dec. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- India has always patronized ethnic forms of art as a medium of storytelling which has made the country rich in its heritage and culture.  Sri Srinivasa Kala Mandira is an organization which provides a platform to stage Indian classics through an array of theater performances called ‘Swarna Hejje’. This year, the theater carnival will commence from Friday, December 12, 2014 and will focus on catering to a larger audience by taking the soul of Indian theater to one’s doorstep.

The event will take place at theater platform; Dr Raj Vedike, Ranga Bimba, and Children world at Rajagopal Nagar, Bangalore. The theater carnival will exhibit a spectrum of performances ranging from mythological and children‘s drama to theater exhibitions and discussions. The ten day carnival promises engaging and interactive entertainment to all age groups. The following is a brief on the schedule of the programs conducted at the mentioned venues:

Dramas based on the events of the Mahabharata.

Theater exhibitions and discussions.

Cultural programs by children.

P .Vajrappa a renowned theater enthusiast, founded Sri Srinivasa Kala Mandira in the year 1957 which has since organized Swarna Hejje annually.  This esteemed organization has felicitated eminent personalities, one among who is Dr. Rajkumar.
