Medical Billing and Practice Management Provider Hires Compliance and Privacy Expert

COLUMBUS, Ga. - Feb. 25, 2015 - PRLog -- Management Services Network (MSN) is pleased to announce that Claudia Murray, BA, RCC, has joined the MSN team as HIPAA and Corporate Compliance Officer. Claudia brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry.

Claudia began her career with twenty-one years of service at Medicare. During that time, she served in many roles focusing on correct coding, utilization review and compliance. After that, Claudia launched into a healthcare consulting career with Provider Practice Management (PPA) and Claudia Murray Consulting (CMC). In her role as consultant, she provided on-site operational assessments, due diligence and accounts receivable financial analyses for both physician practices and billing companies. She has also designed and implemented compliance plans and auditing programs, provided oversight for OIG Corporate Integrity Agreements and served as an Independent Review Organization (IRO). During this time, Claudia also co-authored the RBMA and PPA Compliance Implementation Toolkit and RBMA HIPAA Workbook for Privacy and Security.

Claudia is a frequent presenter at educational conferences within the healthcare industry and has served in the following roles:
