The ZAPP Band is in the Building.. Chicago ZAPP Fans Showed Up and Showed Out

CHICAGO - Nov. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- On November 28th, 2014 at the Governors State University located in University Park, IL the ZAPP Band and Cameo fans came out to get funk'd up. The night started with the hilarious comedian Joe Torry.

Torry ripped the room telling jokes about his family life-- as Joe Torry ended his set for the evening; he respectful paid his admirations to America’s most desired— President Barak Obama.

The funk house opened with the legendary group, ZAPP playing their first hit, "More Bounce to the Ounce" with its hard-hitting funk with jazzy underpinnings, set the tempo for the night. When the hit song “Computer Love,” played-- I totally lost it.

It brought back memories, when my father would put on the ZAPP record, I knew it was time for me to perform for the family. We’d gather in my granny’s living room for the funk showdown. In times like today, when the ZAPP band said, “It’s Going to Be Alright,” it resonated with everyone in the theater. It was music to our ears…

The ZAPP band truly gave an exhilarating show with over 4 generations in the room there wasn’t one person who did not express—enjoyment.

The next show is scheduled for December 6^th 2014 in Denver, Colorado at the Pepsi Center. How do I wish I could get funk’d up one more time—Denver, Colorado ZAPP fans put your dancing shoes on and get ready for the best show ever.
