Santa to Visit Lifestyles Holiday Store

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Dec. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- The man in the red suit, Santa Claus, will pay a visit to the Lifestyles Holiday Store on Saturday, December 13, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The jolly old elf, himself, will pose for photos with guests and pets to raise funds for Lifestyles for the Disabled. Photo opportunities are available for a $5 donation.  There will also be a New York Rangers ticket raffle, light refreshments and lots of holiday gifts that you can buy for your loved ones (or even yourself).

Lifestyles Holiday Store is located in the Coral Island Shopping Plaza at 1650 Richmond Ave. near Victory Blvd., facing Richmond Ave. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through December 22. Shoppers will find hand-painted glassware, holiday wreaths, warm knitted hats, scarves, jewelry, wreaths and woodcrafts and Lifestyles logo caps, sweats, hoodies and tees. Shoppers will also find the new signature Staten Island logo tees and hoodies.

All crafts are created by adults with developmental disabilities participating in the Lifestyles’ arts and crafts, woodshop, greenhouse and jewelry programs. TeeStyles Embroidery and Screen Printing, a subsidiary of Lifestyles, will also be taking orders for monogrammed Christmas stockings, hats, scarves, shower wraps, blankets and more.
