The Hollywood Beauty Detective and Giving Tuesday

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Actress Holly Fulger (Ellen, Anything But Love) has a new series she is creating with the help of Indiegogo, that will be featured for #GivingTuesday, this Tuesday December 2nd. It's called The Hollywood Beauty Detective and her mission is to reframe and reclaim beauty.

Her goal is to discover, explore and celebrate what other people find beautiful, thus shifting the paradigm of beauty- think Anthony Bourdain's "Parts Unknown" with a focus on beauty and all its variations.

"I am so aware of the pressure the media puts on girls and women. I see it with my own daughter and I have obviously experienced it myself," Holly states."I believe that The Hollywood Beauty Detective can change this. We don't need to give in to how the media tells us we're suppossed to be, look, or act. This is an issue that needs to be changed and I am determined to do so. Being part of #GivingTuesday for Indiegogo is an amazing platform and way to get the word out."

Holly chose to work with Indiegogo and go the crowd funding route because keeping control of the series is essential to her. She has a clear vision for the show and is relying on Indiegogo and social media to help make it happen.

"I want to make a difference in the world and this is my way. To be featured for #GivingTuesday tells me I'm on the right path toward giving back. My hope is that others will follow suit and join us."
