Vincent Manfredi Elected to Maricopa City Council

Nov. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- County Recorder Virginia Ross said all votes have been counted except four conditional provisional voters who she is not expecting to present their identifications today to have their votes counted.

Maricopa City Council (Elect 2)
1. Henry Wade – 3,171 votes (27.0%)
2. Vincent Manfredi – 3,095 (26.4%)
3. Rachel Leffall – 2,937 (25.1%)
4. Marty Hermanson – 2,488 (21.2%)
5. Write-in – 34 (.3%)

Vincent Manfredi will join the Maricopa City Council with 26.4% of the vote.

“It’s a good feeling not to have to worry anymore about it,” Manfredi said.

Manfredi said the makeup of the new City Council is “representative of the city itself.”

“It’s great that we have people from every background on the Council – people who have owned businesses, people who have worked in business, people who have worked in government – and we have (some with council) experience. … I think we have a really good makeup,” he said.

The City of Maricopa's swearing in ceremony for our new city council will be held this coming Tuesday, Dec 2nd at 7pm at City Hall. Please join us for light refreshments and the ceremony.
