“Reporting from the Middle East: The View of a Former Foreign Correspondent”

Nov. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Stamford, CT-November 25, 2014 – The public is invited to attend an Ambassadors’ Roundtable series lunch presentation by Kevin Peraino on “Reporting from the Middle East: The View of a Former Foreign Correspondent”. This event will take place at the Stamford Yacht Club on December 10, 2014.

Kevin Peraino is a veteran journalist who has reported from throughout the world, including Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Yemen, Israel, Sudan, and Iraq. He was the Jerusalem Bureau Chief at Newsweek from 2005 to 2010, and has also written for the Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, and other publications. In 2009 he was a finalist for the Livingston Award for his global-affairs coverage. In addition, he is the author of Lincoln in the World: The Making of a Statesman and the Dawn of American Power (Crown, 2013), about Lincoln and U.S. foreign policy.

Peraino is a graduate of Northwestern University and a term member at the Council on Foreign Relations.

The cost for the lunch and presentation is free for AR series members, $40 for Forum members and $55 for the general public. The event will start promptly at 12:30 P.M. with a lunch buffet. The presentation will begin at 1:15 P.M. and Mr. Peraino will take questions.
