Back pain relief product in line for award

LIVERPOOL, U.K. - Nov. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Medical device manufacturer, LumbaCurve International Ltd, , has developed a patented device designed to provide relief to sufferers of lower back pain and sciatica by combining both East and West therapies techniques employed to combat back pain. It has recently completed medical trials, which compared it’s clinical effectiveness directly with current NHS treatment for back pain. An abstract was presented at the Society for Back Pain Research (SPBR) annual conference in Dublin in November.

LumbaCurve is simple to use, either in the treatment room by healthcare professionals or patients for self treatment at home.

The company has also won a £5000 award from the Technology Strategy Board for Innovation which will be used for further product development.

In addition to the award nomination, LumbaCurve has featured at the international trade fair Medica in Germany which has led to potential distribution deals in Europe, the Caribbean, and Middle East.
