“Designing Spaces of Hope – Military Makeover” series airs its second episode on Friday, November 28 on LIfetime; show chronicles the renovations of the townhouse of a Purple Heart Hero and his family with R. Lee Ermey, “The Gunny” as host

(POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – PR LOG – November 25, 2014) Casablanca® Fan Co. will enhance the home of a military veteran on the award-winning home improvement show Designing Spaces™ in the second episode of the “Designing Spaces of Hope – Military Makeover” three-part miniseries on Friday, November 28 at 7:30 a.m. (ET/PT) on Lifetime.

“Designing Spaces of Hope – Military Makeover” presented by Nissan, airs for three consecutive Fridays, November 21, 28 and December 5, 2014 at 7:30 a.m. (ET/PT) on Lifetime and is hosted by “The Gunny”, R. Lee Ermey.

The Designing Spaces Team sought out to partner with a company whose products embody comfort, design, style and energy savings and were thrilled to work with Casablanca® Fan Company on this project. So this past summer, Casablanca joined forces with the “Designing Spaces of Hope – Military Makeover” to help renovate the Summerville, SC townhouse of wounded veteran, Stephen Lunt and his young family.

John Alexander, CEO of Hunter Fan Company, was on location for the series which shows the step-by-step makeover. While in Afghanistan, Lunt was forced to fight an insurgent in hand-to-hand combat, resulting in injuries, surgeries, and a long and painful recovery.

Viewers will need to tune-in to hear his inspiring full story.

Casablanca worked directly with the Lunt’s family to select the fans that fit the family’s taste and the interior design style of the remodel. Alexander helps guide the Lunt’s in their choice of artfully crafted fans that match the design and integrity of each unique room as well as talk about the energy efficiency and blend of form and function their fans offer. Host R. Lee Ermey, “The Gunny”, is a retired United States Marine Corps Staff Sergeant and Drill Instructor and is best known for his TV and Movie career which has spanned over three decades, including his break-out role as the tough drill instructor Gunnery Sergeant (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunnery_Sergeant) Hartman in Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Full_Metal_Jacket).
