Anviz Global Increases Presence in Paraguay

TAMPA, Fla. - Nov. 23, 2014 - PRLog -- It hasn’t taken long for the emerging biometrics company, Anviz Global, to make an impact on key industries in the South American country of Paraguay. Since forming a partnership with distribution company Megapar Ingenieria SA, the two companies have been striking-up a steady stream of projects throughout the country. Some of the most notable projects which Anviz and Megapar have cooperated on include the transportation and financial sectors.

Over the past several years, Anviz Global has provided a series of devices, including biometric-based access control and time-attendance devices to one of its reliable partners in South America, Megapar. The most recent project involved Megapar supplying security solutions for the Silvio Pettirossi International Airport in the Paraguayan capital, Asuncion. A recent enlargement and renovation of Paraguay’s busiest airport increased the demand for an upgrade in security capabilities. To meet such demand, Megapar chose Anviz Global’s VF30. The biometric, fingerprint reading device was installed throughout the airport at numerous entry points and other crucial locations. Upon completion of the project in August, the employees are all enrolled in the accurate biometric identification process. With the VF30, sensitive areas of the Silvio Pettirossi International Airport, such as the airplane hangars, management offices, and security zones have also been integrated with fire protection systems.

Megapar and Anviz Global are not limited to only access control projects. Biometric time-attendance devices are also increasing in popularity within the region. Rather than focusing on one particular site, such as an international airport, the two companies teamed up to test their logistical capabilities, by serving a single customer with multiple sites across Paraguay. Sudameris Bank requested time-attendance devices, Megapar called upon Anviz to provide a viable solution. They installed Anviz Global’s EP300 devices, equipped with Anviz’s self-designed and developed AIM software to manage the machines. Since installation finished on October 1^st, 2014, the EP300 and AIM software has been responsible for tracking the working hours of hundreds of employees at 27 different bank branches across Paraguay.

These projects signal the beginning of a mutually-profitable relationship between Anviz Global and Megapar Ingenieria SA. It highlights Anviz’s strategy to deepen its ties in Paraguay and across South America.
