Transform Author and Mompreneur Janette Gleason Participates in Local Book Signings

SURPRISE, Ariz. - Nov. 23, 2014 - PRLog -- Local author and Mompreneur Janette Gleason participated in two book signings in Phoenix to promote her best-selling book, Transform. In her chapter, Gleason speaks candidly about how she fell into Mompreneurship and how others might undergo their own transformation by incorporating a few key techniques into their mindset. Her chapter received an Editor’s Choice Award. The book reached best-seller status on two of Amazon.com’s best-seller lists.

The signings held at the StarShine Academy on Nov. 13, included a panel discussion moderated by Vanessa Valero of the Trinity Broadcasting System, Christian Broadcasting: Seven Women Changing the World. Organized by Trish McCarty (Transform), founder and CEO of the StarShine Academy, the event showcased the many ways people can make a difference in their communities and in the world. In addition to Gleason and McCarty, the other authors at the event included Paula Dieck (I Look Like Me); Dr. Gladys McGarey (The World Needs Old Ladies); Marie Pomeroy (Prayers Along the Way); Marilyn Stringer (Blues in the 21st Century); and Irma Turtle (Nomads I Have Known and Loved).

The second signing took place at The Bookshop on Nov. 15. “As a small business owner, I was thrilled to host an event at this quaint storefront and to show my support for a fellow entrepreneur,” said Gleason.
