The highest number of pilgrims that stayed in the hotel was those from Egypt. The Department of Statistics and Information of Saudi Arabia revealed that the total number of pilgrims for this year hajj and ummrah season reached 2,085,238 pilgrims, of whom 1,389,053 pilgrims from outside the Kingdom. It is worth mentioning that the Egyptian pilgrims occupied the first rank of non-Saudi pilgrims in KSA by an estimated 39.5 % of the total number of pilgrims. Anjum Hotel Makkah is the first and the largest hotel within the Jabal al-Kaaba project in Makkah al-Mukarramah. It offers 1,743 rooms, or 7.3 per cent of the total number of hotel rooms, in Makkah. The hotel was established based on a well-defined vision aimed at boosting the quality of its services, while addressing the growing number of pilgrims and Ummrah performers. It plans to increase its capacity after the completion of the second and third phases of the Jabal al-Kaaba project, which is poised to deliver a total of 6,000 hotel rooms in Saudi Arabia. End
