Two Flagler County Restaurants Offer Breakfast with Santa

PALM COAST, Fla. - Nov. 23, 2014 - PRLog -- Local Restaurants, Woody’s Bar-B-Q and Bull Creek Fish Camp, are offering “Breakfast with Santa”, while helping stock shelves at local food pantries.

“We thought it would be a great idea to let kids have an opportunity to have breakfast with Santa and at the same time help increase the food supply at the local pantries in time for the holidays,” stated one of the co-owners of both restaurants, Chris Zwirn.

Woody’s B-B-Que will be hosting Santa for breakfast on December 20th, and Bull Creek Fish Camp will welcome him on December13th. Santa will be arriving by boat at Bull Creek.

The menu will include scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, grits, choice of bacon or sausage and a drink choice of tea, coffee, soda, milk, orange juice or apple juice.  The cost is $7.00 per person or $5.00 with donated can of food.  Kids three and under are free. There will be two seating times at 8:00 am or 10:00 am, reservations can be made by contacting Chris Zwirn at 386-986-9181.  Parents are encouraged to bring their own cameras for photo opportunities.

Originally opened by brothers’ Matt and Josh Crews in 1998, Woody’s Bar-B-Q was meant for the ultimate barbeque experience. In the spring of 2000, Josh sold his portion of Woody’s restaurant to Joe Rizzo, a high school friend of both brothers. Trained in the fine art of low and slow smoking, Crews and Rizzo have spent most of their adult life creating and serving the world’s best barbeque. Chris Zwirn joined as a partner last year. The restaurant is a favorite local hang out and the team serves locals and visitors with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Bull Creek Fish Camp opened in 2014 and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the shore of Dead Lake. It’s located 10 miles west of the City of Palm Coast on the Bull Creek Camp Grounds at 3861 CR 2006 in Bunnell, FL on the shores of Dead Lake. They serve seafood, beef and gator tail, as well as a variety of country side dishes and desserts.
