ORLANDO, Fla. - Nov. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Dead Man’s Hill, recently published by author Duncan Bahr concerns a gang of Catholic grammar school boys who quest through New York’s West Side during the 1980s.

This first book of the Hell’s Kitchen Adventure Series focuses on the tormented conscience of the main character, Malcolm, who crusades alongside his classmates to protect his neighborhood from a mysterious homeless man who lives atop the abandoned elevated Westside Highway.

When the plan to eliminate the bum goes haywire, a rumor spreads about a killer hobo on the loose. Malcolm then remembers they left a buddy behind.

Throughout the story, the main character is caught between his best friend Rob’s live-and-let-live attitude and the fiery rhetoric of a fellow altar boy. Dead Man’s Hill is the struggle between the male-honor ideal and Christian self-sacrifice.

Dead Man’s Hill is available on Amazon in both paperback and as an ebook.
