Ten Small Businesses Software Solutions Honored as the 2015 ‘Awesome Application’ Award Winners

SAN MATEO, Calif. - Nov. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Each year, the Sleeter Group celebrates efficient and innovative accounting technology solutions with its Awesome Application Awards Program. Ten winners, signifying some of the top productivity-enhancing solutions, were recognized at the Solutions14 Conference on Monday, November 10th.

Winners of the 2015 Awesome Application awards were chosen for a combination of their outstanding integrations, ease of use, and design. According to Doug Sleeter, president and CEO of the Sleeter Group, the concept of “chunkification” of the business process was also an important factor in encouraging businesses to pick from several different applications that integrate with each other, as opposed to using one accounting system that might not be a good match for the specific needs of the business. With these interconnected “chunks,” businesses can find the best solutions for each of their business processes, whether it be inventory, billing, payments, shipping, ecommerce, reporting and more.

The Awesome Application Awards program,  designed to maximize the exposure for unique applications in the marketplace and has proven to be beneficial for emerging companies trying to increase visibility and accelerate their marketing efforts in the SMB marketplace, as well as for established companies who are launching new features or products.

The winners were determined based on several different user optimization factors: public evaluation data, how the product/service integrates with other parts of the accounting and business process systems, market reputation of the product (e.g., Sleeter Group Consultants Network members’ experiences) and how the product implements “best practices” for integration with QuickBooks and other software solutions.
