Attorney John P. Ford Joins The O’Brien Firm, P.C

A trial attorney with over a decade of experience, John possesses a diverse background in all types of personal injury cases.  At The O’Brien Firm, P.C., John will use his experience to fight for people injured as a result of car collisions, construction accidents, slip or trip and falls, defective products and other areas of negligence. He is licensed to practice in New York State Courts and the United States District Court, Western District of New York. In both 2013 and 2014, John was selected as a Rising Star™ by Super Lawyers®. John also holds memberships in the American Association for Justice, New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association.

Since graduating from the University of Buffalo Law School, John has become a highly regarded member of the Western New York legal community. He is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County and the New York State Bar Association. Additionally, he serves as a board member for the Northwest Community Mental Health Facility. John also gives back to his alma mater by coaching SUNY Buffalo Law School Trial Teams.

John earned his undergraduate degree from Canisius College, where he was a Dean’s List student-athlete while competing as a walk-on point guard for the Golden Griffins’ basketball team and a goaltender for the soccer team.  In the past, he served as color commentator on 710 AM for the Canisius College Men’s basketball team.
