Amish Mike Expands Talents to Homeowners Looking for Large, Custom Spaces

The lakeside cabin, located in Rockaway, New Jersey, was completed at 18-feet by 20-feet, using a 12-foot A-frame to give the structure that classic look and rock solid support.

The first room of Amish Mike's recently completed project is broken down into three rooms. One of the rooms is a men's changing room, another is for women, and the third is for storage. At the client's request, the Amish Mike team built a stairway leading up to a second level. The whole second level was built to be a rec room, complete with games, furniture, and other accouterments that the client and their guests can use to relax by the water.

As always, the Amish Mike team is proud of the work done on the lakeside cabin, but Mike McCort, Owner of Amish Mike, notes that the implications of the team's latest work are even more exciting. For the longest time, Amish Mike has been focused on smaller structures, like sheds, pool houses, and pet shelters. The company has also earned a reputation for building high-quality custom-made furniture, wooden signs, and gazebos. With the completion of the lakeside cabin in Rockaway, McCort notes, Amish Mike is officially moving into large, custom-made spaces.
