Marietta Street NW, 1.5 miles from their current location on Defoor Place where they first brought coworking to Atlanta in 2009. Since launching the then pioneering concept in 2009, Strongbox West has helped to bring hundreds of jobs to Atlanta and Georgia. From numerous well known out-of-state startups like San Francisco based transportation company Uber, to locally based upstarts like the Atlanta Food Truck Coalition and Nuracode. By offering affordable space via monthly membership, not leases, individuals and businesses are able to reduce risk and focus on customer growth and job creation. Allowing companies to easily scale up or down as needed is a driving contributor to sustained job growth. “We’re proud of the job creation, and it’s about to take a big leap forward” said co-founder Amy Hoover. “Just on the size increase alone we’re going to be able to help many more people and business.” The new Strongbox West facility will provide more scaling options with more than 100 private offices & suites, multiple team tables, 50+ individual desks, and shared work tables to seat up to 150. There will also be a separate 2000 sq ft training center with full a/v equipment, numerous conference rooms, maker space, professional studio, and on site coffee shop. The present Strongbox West building currently houses more than 100 startups, entrepreneurs, designers, freelancers, and remote employees in 7,000 square feet. Amy Hoover says this move is long overdue. Atlanta’ “Atlanta was thirsty for this concept. Fact is we outgrew our current location a few years ago and have been searching for the right space. After an extensive search, we finally found it. The new facility will exceed our members’ needs and continue to support the community.” Over the years, Strongbox West has refined its extensive services to members, offering comfortable reception areas, a well-stocked kitchen, professional conference rooms, private spaces for calls, safe and convenient parking, 24/7 secure entry, and community social events. These elements will be present in the new building as well. “The vibe of the space will be very much in keeping with our present environment. An open, industrial feel, yet warm with color and local art. Relaxed yet professional” Strongbox West was launched in 2009 by Talent Zoo executives Amy Hoover and Rick Myers. # End
