The Angus Ho-Ho-Hotel to Welcome Santa at Christmas Market

PERTH, Scotland - Nov. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- To celebrate the festive season in style, The Angus Hotel is welcoming Santa on Saturday November 30^th at 12noon to officially open the hotel’s annual Christmas Market which will open earlier that day, at 10.30am.

This is the second year that the Angus Hotel has hosted a Christmas Market and, after 2013’s event proved to be a big hit with businesses and the local public, nearly 40 unique stall holders are expected to be there. There will be an exciting array of stalls representing a wide range of Perthshire based businesses including Blairgowrie Farm Shop, Swellbow Clothing and Strathearn Fleece and Fibre.

Murray Scott, Hotel Manager at The Angus Hotel commented:

“Last year we had a brilliant response to our first ever market with great support from the local community and businesses in the area. We are delighted to be able to bring an event to the heart of Blairgowrie and welcome Santa to kick things off in his own unique and festive way to meet local children.

“We have a fantastic array of stall holders this year. Again, we have a number of community groups supporting the event including Humpty Dumpty Playgroup and we are welcoming Tayside Cancer Charity for the first time.”

Santa’s Grotto will be open to boys and girls from 12pm - 4pm which is set to be more festive than ever. There will also be a hot food stall offering stovies and mulled wine throughout the day.

Visitors to the Christmas Market will also get the chance to get ahead with their fitness plans for the New Year with the opportunity to win an annual family membership of the Angus Hotel Leisure Club on the day.

Local families are encouraged to show their support by greeting Santa when he arrives, led by a team of local Huskies led by Bowland Trails, at The Angus Hotel in Blairgowrie from 12noon on Sunday 30^th November.
