Total Access Urgent Care Celebrates the Holiday Season by Helping Local St. Louis Families

ST. LOUIS - Nov. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- As the holiday season approaches, St. Louis’ privately owned and operated health care facility, Total Access Urgent Care, is sponsoring families for the Adopt-a-Family program.  The medical center is planning to sponsor six families from the greater St. Louis area.  Generous donors will be able to drop off gifts for families in a collection box in the front office of any location.

There will be one family per location chosen from a neighboring school district. The families are from Webster Groves/ Rock Hill (Webster Groves School District), Chesterfield (Rockwood School District), Town and Country (Parkway School District), South County (Lindbergh School District), South City/St. Louis Hills (Affton School District), and St. Charles (St. Charles School District).

The program will connect donors with families in need of help purchasing food, clothing, toys, household items, and utilities during the holiday season.  Staff from local schools assist with this project by cataloging the families in need.

Over 200 St. Louis families were helped by the Adopt-a-Family program last year.  Generous and anonymous donors shop for gifts that are requested by each family member. These gifts are individually labeled and delivered to designated drop-off sites by mid-December.
