Burst Marketing Relaunches CSEA’s Strong Communities Work

TROY, N.Y. - Nov. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- CSEA unveiled its new Strong Communities Work initiative at its Annual Delegates Meeting in New York City on September 28, produced by creative agency Burst Marketing.

Burst Marketing was hired to develop a new brand position and identity for Strong Communities Work, provide strategic direction and develop a tactical execution plan to introduce the initiative to CSEA delegates. The goal of the initiative is to change perceptions of labor organizations by recognizing “ordinary people doing extraordinary things.” The campaign also encourages others to get involved and asks for nominations of individuals who are working hard to improve their communities.

The first featured community leader is Ivette Alfonso, the Director of Unity Sunshine daycare in Troy, NY, and the co-president of Citizen Action of New York’s Capital Region Chapter. As a community organizer and advocate, she’s involved in outreach and fundraising to support quality education, affordable healthcare and gender equality.

The integrated multichannel campaign includes a cohesive brand identity, the Strong Communities Work microsite serving profile videos and online nomination, and a complete event package for CSEA’s Annual Delegates Meeting, as well as future events and workshops, including a branded stage backdrop, trade show booth, signage and multimedia presentation for the event.

For ongoing awareness, the campaign will continue to profile ordinary individuals making impacts on their communities on the microsite and at Strong Communities Work events.
