Flagler Beach Company Announces Chinese Export Deal, Launches New Book

PALM COAST, Fla. - Nov. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Nature's Nurse International held a press conference this week at the offices of Ocean Publishing (200 S. Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach, FL) where Dr. Ted Anders announced that Nature’s Nurse®,has partnered with Sinopharm, the largest pharmaceutical company in China, to export their products into China starting next month.

A traditional Fijian kava ceremony welcomed everyone to the press conference. The mayor of Flagler Beach, Linda Provenchar, and Flagler Beach Commissioner Joy McGrew, among other attendees participated.

"We will be shipping large quantities of our unique product to treat citizens and visitors suffering from respiratory issues in China,” said Dr. Anders. “Our Respigard™ product has been selected by the North Carolina based US-CHINA “Biogateway” to be its first natural product to be introduced into the China market in partnership with the largest pharmaceutical/nutraceutical/med tech company in China,” he added.

In addition to the export launch, Dr. Anders and business partner Resina Koroi explained their book project, which has the support at the highest levels of China's government, and announced the release of the book entitled "Breath of Life, The Vital Role of Red Mangroves for Human and Planetary Health." A copy of the book will be placed into each product carton that is shipped to China.

The book, published by Ocean Publishing, chronicles the amazing journey of Dr. Ted Anders and Resina Koroi, and their families, as they re-discovered the power of ancient Fijian natural medicine and brought it into the pharmacies, homes and hospitals of the modern world. Their research and development of products made from the oldest living plant species on earth, red mangrove, has led to major breakthroughs in respiratory, immune and skin tissue health. Leading physicians in New York City, Delhi, India, and Shanghai, China use Nature's Nurse branded discoveries to address acute and chronic respiratory challenges, such as those now facing China.

All of these important scientific and human service health advances have been achieved through completely "green" environmentally safe, sustainable harvest practices along the pristine coastlines of Fiji and in production facilities in Asheville, North Carolina. Chinese government officials are impressed with the benefits of Nature’s Nurse products and have authorized the company to ship large quantities into the country.

Ted Anders, PhD, has traveled the world as a management and leadership consultant for over 25 years. During this time he focused on assisting people to improve their health and wellness through natural means. He received his MS and PhD degrees in Educational Psychology from the University of Georgia. Anders co-founded Nature’s Nurse International to bring the health benefits of red mangroves to the world’s population.

From the beginning, the project focused on the elimination of poverty in Fijian villages through coordination with the Fijian Ministry for Social Welfare, Women and Poverty Alleviation. Experts from around the world endorse the science, environmental methods, and cultural sensitivity of Dr. Anders and Ms. Koroi, a well-known Fijian business executive. The book celebrates a model of "doing business right" in the 21st century.

Resina Koroi, co-founder of Nature’s Nurse International, and Nature’s Nurse Fiji, is a strong advocate of women’s issues. She has spent most of her lifetime helping women and children in Fiji to advance economically, socially and medically. People with whom she has worked describe her as “the person who makes things happen.” Koroi’s long history in social programs and water purification projects are just two of the many areas in which she has aided the people of Fiji.

Extract manufacturing jobs are expected to increase in Asheville, NC, the company’s manufacturing center, with sales/marketing support jobs to increase in Flagler County, initially for those who are fluent in Mandarin.

The Natures Nurse Companies are the first in the modern era to develop a clinically effective and reliable botanical extract from red mangrove. Respigard™ is designed to help adults and children challenged by seasonal respiratory and immune systems experiences or ongoing, more persistent respiratory system conditions. “According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) the timing of flu is very unpredictable, but flu activity usually peaks in the U.S. in January or February and now is the time to arm your family with Respigard™,” said Dr. Ted Anders. “Respigard™ is designed to support the respiratory and immune systems of toddlers to adults during this peak season and all year around,” he added. An independent, third-party clinical observation was conducted on more than 80 patients at the Atlanta Allergy and Asthma Institute on Respigard™ by leading asthma and allergy specialist Dr. Scott Carroll. He reported that 8 out of 10 of his patients fully resolved their colds within 48 hours; with zero negative side effects.
