Local Better-Burger Restaurant Gives Back to Over 630 Soldiers on Veterans Day

VENTURA, Calif. - Nov. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Wayback Burgers at the Port Hueneme Naval Base in Ventura County served free food to all veterans and active duty military personnel. The men and women of the military could choose any item on the Wayback menu for free, with no purchase necessary, all day long.

This was the Port Hueneme Naval Base Wayback Burgers’ inaugural year of the Veterans Day promotion, with a total of $12,000 worth of food served to over 630 military personnel throughout the day. The new location looks forward to its second year of business as it continues to serve military personnel in the future.

In addition to the Port Hueneme promotion, more than 85 Wayback Burgers locations nationwide offered veterans and active-duty military personnel a free Wayback Classic Burger with the purchase of any side and any drink.
