BEST of michbusiness Champion Award Winners Announced Today

Nov. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Three michbusiness Champion Award winners were announced at the BEST of michbusiness Awards (http://michbusiness.com/)celebration held at the International Banquet Center at the Atheneum Suites Hotel in the heart of Detroit’s downtown.This inaugural event was presented Nov. 18, 2014 by the Michigan Business and Professional Association (MBPA).

The Champion Awards were voted on by the online community over the past few weeks. This voting helped BEST of michbusiness Award judges to identify three finalists in each category and then select one overall winner. This year’s winners are:

·         MichBusiness Champion of the Year – Small Company (Under 50) Read with Max LLC of Sterling Heights was selected based on strong revenue growth, the organization’s commitment to give back through charities, filling a niche not often addressed in the marketplace, and successfully partnering with other organizations.

·         MichBusiness Champion of the Year – Mid Size Company (50-250) Applied Imaging headquartered in Grand Rapids also showed impressive revenue growth and uses its culture to focus employees on always making decisions that will benefit the customer.

·         MichBusiness Champion of the Year – Large Business (250+) Dearborn Public Schools was selected for its innovative partnership called Collegiate Academy, where students receive a diploma and an associate’s degree in five years at no cost to them.

“We were so happy to share the success of this year’s honorees. The Best of MichBusiness focused on finding and honoring the best of Michigan business and the individuals who make that happen,” said Jennifer Kluge, MBPA president and CEO.
