easyJet selects CTC Aviation once again to deliver MPL Training

Nov. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- As easyJet’s preferred pilot supplier, CTC Aviation has once again opened the application window to aspiring airline pilots for the CTC WINGS MPL Route in partnership with easyJet.

This latest application window will see a further 36 successful applicants commence their training with CTC Aviation from March 2015 and begin operating as A320 First Officers for one of Europe’s leading airlines within 2 years of enrolment.

Since the unique partnership between CTC Aviation and easyJet began in 1995, more than 2,000 graduates from our flagship CTC WINGS airline pilot career programme have had a flying-start as easyJet First Officers, with many now flying with the airline as Captains and holding management roles.

The MPL trainees will undertake an exciting pilot training journey over the course of 17 months through CTC Aviation’s facilities at the company’s Crew Training Centres in Southampton UK, Phoenix USA and Hamilton NZ.

The bespoke Multi-crew Pilot Licence (MPL) syllabus has been developed as a partnership activity between easyJet and CTC Aviation, in accordance with European aviation regulations and approved by the UK CAA.  The MPL programme focuses on relevant multi-crew operations tailored to the specific requirements of easyJet operations using the airline’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

In addition to the easyJet MPL programme, CTC Aviation is also accepting applications for its CTC WINGS Integrated ATPL (http://www.ctcwings.com/europe/courses/cadet_programme) ‘white tail’ Route which remains open throughout the year.  A number of CTC Partner airlines, including easyJet and British Airways regularly select from the Airline Placement Pool of CTC WINGS Integrated ATPL ‘white tail’ graduates and this Route currently achieves an unrivalled 98% placement record.

The CTC WINGS easyJet MPL airline pilot career programme is open to applicants over the age of 18 who have the unrestricted right to live and work in the EEA.  The application window will be open for a limited period only and selection events will be conducted by a combined team of CTC Aviation and easyJet assessors at both CTC Aviation’s Crew Resourcing and Selection Centre – Dibden Manor, near Southampton in the UK and with easyJet in Luton, UK.

Minimum entry requirements for CTC WINGS MPL in partnership with easyJet:

Be at least 18 years of age

Have the unrestricted right to live and work in the EEA or Switzerland*

Hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade C or above including maths, science and English language

Hold a minimum of 2 A Levels, grades BC or above, preferably including at least one science or maths-based subject and excluding general studies and critical thinking, OR hold a 2:1 Degree (or higher)

Be fluent in English (verbal and written) **

Produce a CRC (criminal record check) Basic Disclosure Certificate before training can commence

Minimum height 5'2" (157.48cm) , maximum height 6'5" (195.6cm)

Be able to obtain an EASA Class 1 medical without restrictions
