Alber Twion wins Gold in Design Award

CARDIFF, Wales - Nov. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Alber® Twion® has won the highest accolade in the Focus Open 2014  - Baden Wurttemberg International Design Awards recently  held in Germany.  The smart power add on wheels beat  230 entries to win the Focus Gold; a premium award for outstanding design in the Medicine, Rehabilitation and Geriatric Medicine category for its innovation and ease of use.

Judges were impressed with its simple solution for detaching the wheels; the LED charge indicator and app connection to a smartphone that offers functions such as battery charge distance travelled and route map.

This international competition is open to companies worldwide who can submit products across a variety of categories.  All product entries were evaluated and assessed based on a number of criteria including design quality, functionality, innovativeness, ergonomics, interface design, sustainability and perceived value.  The Focus Open design awards aim to highlight and pursue the excellence of products with outstanding design and innovative solutions.

Alber Twion will be displayed in a special exhibition at the Information and Art Museum in Germany over the next few months.
