HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - Nov. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- It’s going to be an exciting night in Huntington Beach.  Coco Montoya, one of the most respected and renowned guitar players in the Music Industry is headlining and playing in Huntington Beach for the first time.  Diane & The Deductibles, Huntington Beach’s own Rock ’n Blues Band is opening up and bringing their A Game for this celebrity filled VIP party culminating in a Birthday Extravaganza.

Many celebrities / music legends are expected to attend Reception and Red Carpet  starting when the doors open at 6 p.m, Show starts at 7 p.m, VIP After Party Birthday Extravaganza at 10 p.m.  Location: Huntington Beach Library Theater 7111 Talbert Ave., Huntington Beach, CA, 92648.

Diane Adams, Lead Singer of Diane & The Deductibles had the dream to put bands together in this amazing Library Theater that is located in Huntington Beach’s Central Park Cultural Center.  This line-up is one of her favorites in her series of shows by DRAIA Productions “Rock ‘n Blues at the Library”, as Diane has known and admired Coco for years and is honored to open up for, who Guitar One Magazine calls, “The hottest southpaw in the Blues.”

Coco Montoya will be playing a few songs off his highly acclaimed “Songs From The Road” double CD which spans the history of Coco’s material.  He has had an amazing journey.  Coco started out as a drummer with Legendary Guitarist Albert Collins but was quickly inspired by Albert’s guitar chops and moved to play guitar himself.  Coco was quickly noticed by John Mayall of The Bluesbreakers following in the footsteps of Eric Clapton (Clapton and bassist Jack Bruce had just left to form Cream).  Many other musicians came through The Bluesbreakers to form their own groups such as Peter Green, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood (who then went on to form Fleetwood Mac), Andy Fraser formed Free, and Mick Taylor joined the Rolling Stones.  After a succession of musicians John Mayall finally brought together the incarnation of the Bluesbreakers launched in 1984 which evolved to Coco Montoya and Walter Trout who had to fill the shoes of former Bluesbreakers.  This was the line-up that stuck as Coco stayed with the band for 10 years.  In 1995 Coco played with the Cate Brothers on their release “Radioland” and since then Montoya has recorded several Solo Albums, one featuring Bo Diddley on a Tribute Album called ”Hey Bo Diddley”, a Tribute.  In the early 1990’s he was signed to Blind Pig Records and released three critically acclaimed discs,” Gotta Mind To Travel”, “Ya Think I’d Know Better”, and “Just Let Go”.  Coco also was named the Blues Foundation’s “Best New Blues Artist” at the 1996 Blues Music Awards.  In 2000, Coco signed with Alligator Records, and in the seven years with the label, Coco released three more outstanding records, “Suspicion”, “Can’t Look Back”, and 2007’s “Dirty Deal”.  In 2009, Coco Montoya signed with Germany’s premier blues label, Ruf Records, “I Want It All Back” was the first CD, and the double CD “Songs From The Road” is the latest release.

ABOUT DIANE & THE DEDUCTIBLES

Diane Adams - "As Lead Singer, I started this project in January 2011 with the desire to get back to my enjoyment of singing and playing guitar.  I have been singing, performing and studying music since I was 8 years old (Classical, Country, R&B and Rock).  Lots of Studio work - AFTRA-SAG-Commercials-Recordings/Industrial promotional films plus live performances early on in my life.  In the 90's, I started my own Multi-Line-Commercial Brokerage and FARMERS INSURANCE AGENCY, hence the name "Diane & the Deductibles."  I always knew music would be back in my life even as a hobby.  A few years back I found myself singing at local charity events and decided I wasn't finished with music and once again brought music into my life, but this time with my pro-bass player husband, Cliff."
