ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Nov. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Course Description
The truth is, no matter how well you prepare, there are times when you have to be without your handgun. It is critical to have a simple, effective strategy in place to deal with gun free zones or times when you have to defend, but not to shoot. The tactical pen is a legal alternative that you can carry virtually anywhere and, with the right training, defend yourself and your loved ones. This four hour course is packed with mindset training and skills to help you get and stay effective.

Taught by one of the highest ranking black belts in the US, you will learn these critical aspects:
1. Mindset - awareness, readiness, de-escalation
2. Awareness - state of mind, vision, feel
3. Stance - natural, defensive, attacking
4. Moving - center of gravity, stepping, balance, speed
5. Holding the weapon (tactical pen, kubotan, etc…)
6. Targets
7. Tactics - verbal attacks, unarmed attacks, armed attacks
8. Health risks - impact injuries, puncture wounds/cuts, fluid exchange
9. Legal aftermath - level of force, reasonable apprehension of danger, talking to law enforcement
