Andrew Barer: Extraordinary Executive Coach

NEW CANAAN, Conn. - Nov. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Whether you are at a crossroads for making an important career decision in your life or are a struggling student, life coaches are there to help propel you to achieve success.  Mr. Andrew Barer of Wingspan Associates is a helpful resource to discuss your career plans with.  Andrew Barer will help you surmount  your previous limitations and help you to restructure your plans for continual success.  As a dedicated, inspirational, and creative teacher, mentor, tutor, and coach, he has 25 years experience in one-on-one, classroom, as well as small group settings.  He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and History with a concentration in  race relations from Wesleyan University.  In continuing his education, he completed his professional coaching certification programs as a Certified Youth Family Coach (CYFC), a Certified Executive Coach, (CEC), and a Certified Master Coach (CMC) from The World Coaching Institute.  Following that experience, Andrew Barer completed his Masters in Psychology in 2013 from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.  Prior to launching Wingspan Associates, Andrew Barer had been doing corporate consulting, executive coaching, as well as life coaching and training for over 15 years.

Andrew and Debbi Barer’s three children have also made a strong, positive impact on their lives.  Their son, Logan, a cancer survivor, is an example of the importance of having determination and resilience in every challenge.  Mr. and Mrs. Barer also have two children who are fraternal twins.  Milo has an unparalleled enthusiasm for life.  Through her strengths in maintaining a positive outlook no matter what situation she is faced with, she is a consistent reminder of reflecting on the bright side of everything.  Her brother, Eli has Down syndrome.  Despite the majority of Eli’s journey having adversity, Andrew and his family help Eli find his way one step at a time.  Although tasks that are simple for some people come across as a different experience for Eli, he is a continual reminder of the need for mutual support in this world in order to contribute, thrive, and live happily.
Mr. Barer also enjoys helping out in the community pro-bono.  Andrew Barer was a member of the Board of Directors of the Easton Learning Foundation in Easton, CT.  The Easton Learning Foundation (ELF) is an independent 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization concentrated on improving educational excellence for students in the Easton Public Schools.  Andrew Barer has also helped with fundraising and marketing for The Mycelium School in Connecticut communities including New Canaan, Darien, and Greenwich.  The Mycelium School is an international program which provides the next generation of leaders with the knowledge  and skills needed for pinpointing and addressing the fundamental causes of environmental and social concerns.
