Follow on Google News | EducationCity shortlisted in three categories in the BETT 2015 AwardsBy: EducationCity Shortlisted in the International Digital Education Resource category, EducationCity, whose EducationCity.com resource is used in 15,500 schools in over 67 countries, successfully demonstrated that it’s English, maths, science, computing, French, Spanish and English as an Additional Language modules were accessible, inclusive and enabled effective learning. Most importantly they were able to show that the product allowed teachers to track progression and achievement and that it came complete with e-safety advice for users, teacher guidance and first class customer service. EducationCity was also named as a finalist in the ICT Exporter of the Year category for its successful international trade crucial to the company’s long-term growth strategy. Central to its success in the export market is its long-term relationships with local partners who have essential knowledge of each country’s education sector and are well placed to understand teacher and student expectations, culturally and linguistically. Additionally, EducationCity was shortlisted as a finalist in the category ICT Company of the Year – between £1m and £10m, EducationCity successfully illustrated excellent growth across all areas of its business. The launch of V2 was cited as a key factor positively impacting growth in 2014.
