Attorney Steven Fingerhut wins hearing on behalf of former employee of Paquillo

NEW YORK - Nov. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Attorney Steven Fingerhut, an associate of the law firm Imbesi Christensen, successfully represented a former employee of OTG JFK T5 Venture LLC ("Paquillo").  The Department of Labor issued an initial determination that the firm's client could receive benefits.  Paquillo appealed the determination and a hearing was held before the Honrabale Tracie L. Covey.

Judge Covey issued an award in favor of the firm's client after the hearing was conducted.  The decision in favor of the firm's client sustained the initial determination granting the client benefits.

Specifically, the decision set forth the following:

DECISION: The initial determination is sustained.  The claimant is allowed benefits with respect to the issues decided herein.

Judge Covey determined that Mr. Fingerhut successfully proved that the employee was entitled to benefits.
