Dr. Jerry Oestmann joins Center for Behavioral Medicine in Port Orange Florida

Dr Oestmann has agreed to see new private pay patients for $60.00 an hour in order to spread the word of his joining the Center for Behavioral Medicine.

PORT ORANGE, Fla. - Nov. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Dr. Jerry Oestmann, PhD originally comes from Nebraska and has a Masters in Counseling Psychology and a Doctorate in Psychological Testing and Measurements from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He brings over 30 years of experience as a clinician to the Center for Behavioral Medicine. His experience is wide ranging. He can provide treatment to men, women, and couples, seniors, adolescents, children, and families. He is experienced in treating thought, mood, behavior, and personality disorders, substance abuse, behavioral, social, and interpersonal problems, couples/relationships problems including domestic violence, and helping individuals with personal and development goals. His mission is to approach each person, couple, or family with respect, to listen to their needs, and to develop an effective course of treatment. He coordinates treatment with their medical care provider, family members, school, social service agencies, legal/justice systems, or other’s they desire.


He can provide mental health and substance abuse diagnostic and pretreatment evaluations, and full psychological evaluations, including standardized assessments of cognitive abilities, mental health problems, mental disability, and personality functions. He can provide specific assessment for lap-band and other pre-surgery evaluations, law enforcement candidate assessment, parenting evaluation, or need for guardianship. These evaluations provide clinical diagnosis, recommendations of treatment and interventions, determine the appropriate level of care, or answer other clinical questions.
