Good Shepherd Shelter Launches “Match The Kindness” Campaign

Matching grant program to double the size of its program in 2015

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Starting today, November 17, Good Shepherd Shelter will be on a race to raise $125,000 that will be matched by a major private foundation to enable the program to double in size in 2015. The matching grant race is being conducted online at http://www.goodshepherdshelter.info and on Indiegogo athttp://igg.me/p/good-shepherd-shelter-grows-matching-grant/x/9056123 and ends on December 10, 2014, giving the nonprofit just under 4 weeks to raise the money to be matched.

“We have been serving the women and children who are the survivors of domestic violence since 1977. This matching grant opportunity gives us the ability to dramatically expand our program – offering our families not only the healing needed to be successful, but additional transitional services to insure their continued success,” said Sr. Anne Kelley, Executive Director, Good Shepherd Shelter.
