HOLLYWOOD, CA – The provocative same-sex discrimination short film Change of Heart has begun its fundraising campaign through Kickstarter.  The group, headed by Writer and Executive Producer Jason William Spencer, aims to raise at least $2,500 for the production.

The aim of the film is to bring attention to the real-world issues that arise from not passing same-sex marriage laws or at minimum common sense protections for same-sex couples.  In a modern society such as the United States, same-sex couples should be given the ability to visit and make medical decisions for the ones they love.  This is something that everyone can agree on whether you agree with same-sex marriage or not.

The cast and crew of Change of Heart are from James Franco’s Studio 4 School for the Arts.
