ARRO Autogas & Expo Propane Open First 24/7 Refueling Station Serving LAX

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Propane fuel provider ARRO Autogas (http://www.arroautogas.com/), in partnership with Expo Propane, announces the opening of the first-ever 24/7 public propane autogas refueling station in the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) area today.

  Located at 10600 S. Prairie Avenue in Inglewood, CA—six minutes from the Century Boulevard (main) entrance of LAX, and near the 405 and 105 freeway corridors—the ARRO Autogas branded station provides shuttles, ride share vans and other alternative fuel autogas fleets in and around the airport with convenient, all-hours propane refueling capability.

  “LAX is such a major hub for California drivers, and there are so many propane vehicles that service the airport,” says ARRO Autogas Market Manager Ted Olsen. “Up until now, there has never been a 24/7 propane autogas station to provide refueling services in this busy, high traffic area. We saw the need and were glad to join forces with Expo Propane to open an accessible option for area drivers who choose to burn a cleaner fuel in their vehicles.”

  The new self-service LAX station became accessible to Prokee holders at any time of the day on November 5, 2014. Additionally, beginning in January a full-time attendant will be on site every Saturday to fill BBQ cylinders, fork lift cylinders, Recreational Vehicles (RVs), patio heaters and other propane powered equipment. A Grand Opening ceremony for the station will be announced at a later date.

  Expo Propane, which operates six “CleanFuelUSA” branded propane motor fuel stations in Southern California, owns the lease to the LAX-area property and provides the propane fuel and tank for the station. ARRO Autogas provides the fuel dispensing equipment and the fuel management software for the station, using the advanced, Prokee-controlled Fuel Management System.

  “ARRO Autogas already has seven stations in the LA basin alone and was looking to us to help provide access to autogas closer to LAX.
