American Conference Institute to Deliver New Training Programs in China

NEW YORK - Nov. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Following the enormous success of its flagship “China Summit on Anti-Corruption” held annually in June in Shanghai, American Conference Institute has announced two new training programs for compliance teams based in China.

Complementing, its annual high-level summit, which is the most comprehensive anti-corruption conference of its kind in China, ACI’s new innovative and flexible training seminars will give delegates an opportunity to go into the nuts and bolts of two critical themes for compliance professionals: Third Party Risk Management in China and Anti-Corruption Compliance Programs in China.

Compliance professionals in China have been faced with rising pressure as Chinese regulators have promised to combat the “threat of corruption” and "[advance the] rule of law" by "treating sick trees and uprooting rotten ones." Chinese and foreign authorities have initiated a series of operations designed to increase enforcement of anti-corruption regulations, targeting multinationals as well as local companies. A lack of open access to corporate records, the frequent use of intermediaries, vendors and consultants in doing business, and the dominance of State Owned Enterprises in the Chinese economy are all challenges multinational companies face while conducting business in this high risk but high value market.

Industry specialists in the Chinese market expressed a need for more in-depth and practical training that would provide compliance teams with cutting-edge solutions to the local enforcement trends and complex challenges that companies face while operating in country. Many compliance programs struggle to stay up-to-date with the continuously evolving investigations and business environment. ACI’s one-day training Seminars will provide the most in-depth, high-quality China-specific compliance education on the market. Topics to be covered include:
