Bernard Lietaer New Advisor to Jetcoin Institute

Nov. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Singapore – November 13, 2014 – Joining the creator of the new digital token ‘jetcoin,’ international currency expert Professor Bernard Lietaer recently became an advisor for Jetcoin Institute. Professor Lietaer will also be a keynote speaker at Inside Bitcoins Paris November 20-21.

Jetcoin Creator and Jetcoin Institute Cofounder Eric Alexandre will also speak at Inside Bitcoins Paris, along with Eddy Travia, Chief Startup Officer of Bitcoin startup incubator Seedcoin.

Prof. Lietaer is the author of The Future of Money (translated in 18 languages), and is an international expert in the design and implementation of currency systems. Working in the field of money for more than 30 years, Prof. Lietaer co-designed and implemented the convergence mechanism to the Euro.

About Bernard Lietaer
Bernard Lietaer is a Research Fellow, Center for Sustainable Resources of the University of California at Berkeley, and most recently Advisor to Jetcoin Institute. He has studied and worked in the field of money for more than 30 years as a Central Banker, fund manager, university professor, and consultant to governments in numerous countries, multinational corporations, and community organizations. He co-designed and implemented the convergence mechanism to the single European currency system (the Euro) and served as president of the Electronic Payment System at the National Bank of Belgium (the Belgian Central Bank). He co-founded and managed GaiaCorp, a top performing currency fund whose profits funded investments in environmental projects.
