Learn Empathy: The Revolution of the Heart from Daniel Keeran, MSW

How do you think society might change if empathy was taught in schools?

Imagine a world in which everyone, children and adults, knew how to care about how others feel and what they need, want, and think. Now for the first time, we have a set of tools to actually learn empathy so that it becomes part of one's way of relating to others.

Ten practical exercises are described to enable transformation of the self, the community, and the human society. Empathy requires an awareness of one's own emotions in order to begin to feel connected with the emotions of others.

“The book is well written and can be used in many ways to educate about empathy. The exercises are accessible for any teacher or mental health professional to use and can be adjusted to fit their needs. I would use this in trainings and with clients.” - Shayna C., BA, Coordinator, Community Support Program

CAN EMPATHY BE LEARNED?
What is it? Ten practical exercises for children and adults in any relationship.
