Cypress Equities Breaks Ground on Market Street Place in San Francisco

DALLAS - Nov. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Cypress Equities companies* (Cypress) officially broke ground today on Market Street Place, a multi-level retail center with approximately 250,000 square feet of retail on six levels plus 167 spaces of underground parking.

The urban redevelopment project, located on Market Street between 5th and 6th Streets, will feature an exterior façade combining layers of clear and translucent glass that capture fragmented images of the streetscape while providing a peek into the shopping experience inside. The modernistic structure was designed by Gensler. The building will allow retailers to enjoy exceptional street presence with up to 270 feet of frontage, as well as 15 to 18-foot high ceilings and large floor plates of up to 40,000 square feet.

The project is slated to open in the fall of 2016. SRS Real Estate Partners will be taking the lead on retail leasing. Retailers and restaurants will be announced, as the development of Market Street Place progresses.
