(Nov. 6, 2014) – On Friday, December 5th, Rock By The Sea will host an all-ages, charity concert at Vinyl in Atlanta to celebrate the release of their new Christmas album, A Rock By The Sea Christmas :: Volume Five. Funds raised by both the album and the concert will benefit Camp Sunshine, a GA-based foundation that provides support for children with cancer and their families through recreational and educational programs. Over the past eight years, Rock By The Sea has raised almost $350,000 in support of various pediatric cancer organizations. “A Rock By The Sea Christmas :: Volume Five is full of generosity from some of our favorite artists,” says Beth Gosnell, the charity’s President. “We are so grateful for the contributions of these artists and thrilled to be able to present them to you for this Christmas.” The artists performing at the December show include Atlanta singer/songwriter, Tim Brantley; JD Eicher, named by Alternative Addiction as a Top 10 unsigned act; The Georgia Flood, who recently represented the Atlanta Blues Society at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN.; and Georgia Country’s Teen Artist of the Year, Jordan Grassi. Also appearing are Joe Stevenson andCharlie Oxford. Tickets are $10 in advance with net proceeds going to Rock By The Sea charities. A Rock By The Sea Christmas :: Volume Five includes a range of artists such as NBC’s “The Voice” finalist, Tony Lucca, American Music Award Winners, Carbon Leaf, The Falcon Ridge Folk Festival’s “Most Wanted Emerging Artist”, Eliot Bronson, and acclaimed singer/songwriter, Griffin House, among others. The album features a mixture of traditional Christmas favorites, as well as original holiday songs unique to the record. "It's an absolute treat to be included alongside these great artists in supporting Rock By The Sea's efforts to raise money and awareness for some of the most deserving charities at work today,” says Tony Lucca. “The added Holiday element of this compilation makes it all the more emotional for me, personally."
