Family & Children’s ThanksGiving Ball Set for November 20th Honoring William A. Marino

SMITHTOWN, N.Y. - Nov. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- (November 12, 2014/Mineola, NY)  Family & Children’s Association, one of Long Island’s largest human care agencies, is planning their annual ThanksGiving Ball for Thursday, November 20th at the Garden City Hotel honoring William A. Marino, Founder/Chief Executive Officer of Star America in Roslyn.  Mr. Marino has had an illustrious career in the construction insurance and bonding industry, including the creation of a construction-only brokerage firm that developed into the largest private construction surety and insurance brokerage in the country.  In addition, he is currently the chairman of the Association for the Improvement of American Infrastructure(AIAI), an education and advocacy group, which he helped create.

The ThanksGiving Ball raises much needed funds for Family & Children’s Association whose mission is to care for Long Islanders in need.  Attendees will celebrate the season of giving by enjoying music by Jack’s Waterfall, dancing performances and instruction by Event Kings, cocktails, gourmet dining, silent auction and raffle prizes including an overnight stay for two at Oheka Castle.
