Competitive Swimming Merit Badge Program Announced by AMBRO Manufacturing

Modeled after the Boy Scounts of America "Merit Badge" program, AMBRO Manufacturing has developed a set of 10 skill based embroidered patches for competitive swimming.

"Young athletes are fuled by recognition and defined achievable goals.  By promoting both with an embroidered merit patch program, swimmers of all ages will rise to the challenge in order to collect their patches to display their achievements.  This program will help coaches motivate their swimmers to achieve next level results"

The Competitive Swimming Merit Badge Program is based on 10 different skill sets that have been identified by swim coaches across the U.S. as basic skill needs of every swimmer.  These skills range from proper stroke, start and turn to correct breathing, endurance and stamina.  Working with coaches from both YMCA and private swim clubs, AMBRO's team of embroidery artists have created icon like representations of each skill set and then sewn those into 2" diameter embroidered patches.

These patches are made available as a complete set or as individual patches.  At an affordable price of $1.50 per patch, competitive swim programs of all sizes should be able to participate in the program.

Each patch in this line is completely custom, embroidered and available with an iron on backing.  If customers choose to sew the patches, the iron on backing can be used as a temporary tack to hold the patch in place for sewing.  At a 2" diameter, each patch can be applied to virtually any fabric surface including Coats, Bags, T-Shirts, Back Packs or other items.
