Follow on Google News | PODS® raises over $16,000 to participate in American Heart Association’s Heart Walk Nov. 15For the 3rd year, PODS, a leading moving and storage provider, has been working to meet fundraising goals for the American Heart Association’s Tampa Bay Heart Walk, taking place on Saturday, Nov. 15 at Raymond James Stadium.
By: PODS® Moving and Storage Led by president and CEO of PODS, John Koch, each department at PODS has been working to raise money internally. This includes hosting various fundraisers such as a bake sale, pasta lunch, a taco bar, a photo booth, chili cook-off, a pie in the face of the finance team, as well as individual team members raising money on their own. Koch also served on the Heart Walk cabinet and plans to be a participant. “We are really proud to be working with American Heart Association again to help further their efforts in building healthier lives,” expresses Koch. “PODS works with many charitable organizations annually, but helping fight heart disease and stroke through our local American Heart Association is very important to us.” PODS has exceeded its goal of $15,000 and the American Heart Association has already raised more than $2,874,000.
