Letter to Amazon.com Board of Directors

SEATTLE - Nov. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- The letter details stunning emails and deposition transcript excerpts and was sent to Amazon's  Board of Directors for a thorough board-led fiduciary investigation (Jeff Bezos, Thomas Ryder, William ‘Bing’ Gordon, Jamie Gorelick, Tom Alberg J.D., Patricia Stonesifer, John Brown Ph.D., Alain Monié, Jonathan Rubenstein, and Judy McGrath).

The letter was filed by ad technology executive Kivin Varghese, who was allegedly unlawfully terminated from Amazon.com after successfully leading the launch of the Kindle Fire Ad Platform but refusing to cover-up the alleged misuse of hundreds of thousands of dollars in customer funds despite his manager's alleged repeated attempts to have him do so. He was subsequently unlawfully terminated by this general manager, an 8-year Amazon veteran, who was later found to have falsified her own educational records when she applied to Amazon (claiming to have a BS and MS in Computer Science from Stanford when in fact she had earned no degrees at all) and falsified and backdated performance entries as a pretext for terminating Varghese's employment after his refusal to go along with her alleged cover-up.

The letter shows that Amazon's questionable ethical behavior with respect to customers is a broader issue than just what happened in this particular case, and involves senior executives and company officers.
