Award Winning, Holistic Financial Advisor Keith Gebert’s Success Driven By Personal Relationships

Continuing His Focus on Safe Money Planning, The NYC/New Jersey Based Entrepreneur Launches Rightbridge Financial Group After A Successful, Multi-Year Stint At New York Life

Nov. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Growing up in Brooklyn, Keith Gebert’s future success as a financial advisor was practically pre-destined as part of his family DNA. His mother worked on Wall Street as a bond transfer agent for EF Hutton and Dean Witter. Her uncle, Gebert’s great uncle, has been a broker for many years and is currently retired from being a partner in a wealth management firm in Florida.

Gebert, who launched his own independent firm, RightBridge Financial Group (http://www.rightbridgefinancial.com/), in NYC and New Jersey in early 2014 after five award winning dynamic years with New York Life, grew up observing all of this in an exciting era, the 90s. He spent his time among hot shot brokers, learning where and how money was made. He knew automatically he would follow in his mom’s and great uncle’s footsteps.

His passion for baseball was his ticket. Throughout his childhood and his teens, when he wasn’t immersed in learning about finance, Gebert was on the field, usually playing second base. He played on various leagues and competitions like the Little League World Series, and for the AAU Travel League; he played at the Friendship Games (a prominent international event in Europe dedicated to helping young athletes) and also played for his alma mater, Xaverian High in Brooklyn, which had one of the best high school teams in the country.

Gebert extended his baseball career for a time after graduating from Dominican, essentially launching his financial career by helping his fellow teammates and working with professional athletes.

While building his clientele with a conservative style of investment he named (and still calls) Safe Money Planning, Gebert—positioning himself as a retirement specialist for those 55 years and older—set many sales records and was selected several times for the AAC Triple Crown Award, based on his prominence as one of the top advisors in the company and voted on by the Advisory Council.

It’s a distinction based on those advisors who best utilize all of New York life’s products in their clients’ financial plan– something that came natural to Gebert as he developed close personal relationships with his clients and developed customized holistic plans for their retirements.

Gebert was also a member of New York Life’s Executive Council and a member of the Million Dollar Round Table and the Manhattan Chambers of Commerce. His accolades have continued in 2014, including an America Select Financial Advisor Award and, even more uniquely, a 2014 Women’s Choice Award, awarded by a prominent women’s organization in recognition of his excellent work on behalf of single and widowed female clients. Gebert’s ongoing community service efforts include donating time and money to numerous charities, including leading holiday toy drives at the Staten Island University Children’s Hospital and Miami (Florida) Children’s Hospital.

New York Life allows established agents with three years tenure the option of creating their own DBA under the corporate umbrella – but in early 2014, Gebert made the bold move to leave the company and create the completely independent “RightBridge Financial Group- whose branding slogan is “Your Bridge To Financial Freedom.” Though he credits his time at New York Life for instilling ethics and discipline, he felt it was time for him to go on his own.

Founded on his principles of integrity and ingenuity, RightBridge’s mission is to provide clients comprehensive, unbiased advice relating to all aspects of their financial situations. Gebert and his team help them achieve any number of key financial goals, from planning for retirement, accumulating wealth and enhancing their business, to developing IRA strategies and designing proprietary exit strategies. The firm believes that the single most important responsibility of a financial advisory practice is the delivery of professional advice and service on a daily basis to individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations.

“With RightBridge Financial,” says Gebert, “we have the unique tools at our disposal to serve our clients’ many diverse needs with comprehensive, holistic plans. Many of the financial products I work with to create individualized plans are those that less than one percent of advisors have access to. This has allowed me to create a unique proprietary practice driven by multi-faceted solutions.”
